The simulator is a model of a human torso with a simulated sternotomy. The unique material used in the simulator has physical properties that are as close to natural as possible, creating a high degree of realism during the manipulation. The anatomically accurate heart and vascular system include the superior and inferior vena cava, the pulmonary trunk, the pulmonary arteries, and the aorta.

• High blood pressure before aortic cannulation
• Impaired outflow from the superior vena cava
• Restoration of cardiac activity through ventricular fibrillation

The software installed on the instructor’s tablet provides the launch of scenarios for connecting the patient to an artificial blood circulation device through vascular cannulation and performing antegrade cardioplegia, followed by disconnecting the patient from the artificial blood circulation device. This software allows you to control the manipulations performed, with the possibility of debriefing and evaluation.

The software installed on a separate monoblock computer simulates the operation of a bedside monitor displaying patient parameters.
